    Re-blueing

A friend up here has managed to track down an HW35E he purchased back in 1980. It's one of the first with the synthetic breech seal.

Can anyone recommend somewhere he could send the rifle to be re-blued?

ISP Air Rifles seem to have an excellent reputation among people on here, although I've never had anything done there myself:

    Thumbs up Mutts nuts

Had a rifle done a little while back at Manchester Air Guns, top job, quick turnabout too.

I had my HW35E done at ISP earlier this year, superb result, far better than original. IIRC it cost me £55 to get done, plus postage. Shaun only uses couriers who charge rather a lot and you end up collecting it from the depot anyhow. Best to drop off and pick up if you can.

I wouldn't fancy taking on the Pentland Firth in an Alvis Stalwart.
