    Stirrup pump how to use?

    Hi,
I've just got a stirrup pump (thanks IanC, top bloke!), its a Hills non drypac BSA brand, can someone tell me how to use it please?
The PCP is a BSA Spitfire, I have fitted the quickfill adapter on the end of the hose having first removed the grub-screw from it as per Spitfire user manuel.
    Thanks!
