I've just obtained an oiled walnut stock.I've previously only had lacquered beech stocks so would like some advice on how and what products I need to to care and maintain the sheen on the walnut.
Thanks
Myles

Hi Myles,
If you do a search the general opinion seems to be Danish oil. I have just started to do my walnut stock with Colron refined Danish oil, the best results I have found is by putting on one thin coat every 24 hours. And just before applying the next coat rubbing it down with either 800/600 grit wet and dry or 0000 grade wire wool. Hope this is of some help.
