The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
Top HFT tip : Hit the little round disk in the middle of the bigger bit of shaped metal.

Best thing that I have learned. Don't wind yourself up when you miss. It really doesn't help and often makes things much worse.

Yep, I can agree with this hint. Biting of stocks, kicking trees and punching the floor help though...Originally Posted by sam vimes

Zero your rifle before competing, don't assume. You'd be surprised how many DON'T do it!
Be confident with your kit, for me this is the most important thing.
Learn your ranges, and oh so importantly, learn the poa for each distance. This is down to chairgun and real practice.
Enjoy yourself!
Don't aim to win, aim to improve.
practice practice practice.
Thanks for that you lot, i have done a couple of comps and love it, its great fun..but i need to take another step and get better. As i said i do love it but need to take it to the next level. Might get some books on it..what would be better if there was a DVD on it..much easier
Thanks again AND a Merry Crimbo to you all.

ps.All my inner self says really is " what time does the pub open" ..i dont really listen to that anymore.
Thanks Buddy.
I shoot with some decent people and they are in the know..they do help lots. DVD all the way then. AND as you say practise practise practise..I do like the idea of kicking trees though..right up my street.
