MK3's come up for sale on a fairly regular basis and tend to go for anything between £450 and £650 depending upon condition, calibre and model ( a,b or c ) etc etc

Basically the Mk3 has had a few mods done - principally to the electronics.

No expert and others will expand upon the differences both mechanical and sparks.

The A model is the oldest and needs to be a fair bit cheaper than the later ones to sell. B and C models are very similar and are upgradeable on the electrics. A model is not upgradeable. Trigger on A model is not impressive - B and C are better. A model has better wood and first 50 have blueing by Purdey and it shows.

There is allso one in the sales section.
Look for posts by me and you will find it.
A version. Delux walnut stock with rosewood grip.
    Scope, silencer etc

There was a slight diference between the stocks. The A version had a slighly diferent thumbhole area. Which I actualy preferd
As for the diference in trigers. I have never noticed it and owned both models since they first came out.

The b version 177 went within an hour of going on the board

You will find the early stocks normaly have a slightly better marking to them. The b version I sold had a rearly prominent tiger strike efect. There are some stunners out there
