I noticed there are quite a few people selling their 2002's to fund a new 8002. I was wondering where they are buying them from and how much they are. Also how much do the modifications cost? A quick look at my favourite German gunshop shows the following pricing: 8002 €1375 (£940) 9003 €1725 (£1180) Are UK prices much higher than this?

the cost is around £1300 from welham,
slightly less from j.harris (hareng)
add ons cost you what you want.
mine is plus a titanium cylinder, titanium shroud and custom air stripper, flip, cone thingy. ( from mick tromans)

Sounds great, I would'nt mind seeing a picture of it sometime. Does it shoot like the 2020? The 2020 feels a lot different to my Welham 2002.

The prices are a lot higher over here. Cheapest 9003 unmodded was £1486.
Cheapest 8002 alum was £1145, laminate and wood cheaper but unsorted!
Mine is the only 9003 fully sorted in the UK.

Looks like I'll have to stick with the 2002 a little longer...

There is not much point going for the 9003, there are differences but nothing that cannot be added to the 8002 at a price.
Not sure whether those Euro prices are with or without the sight set approx £200 for the 9003.
The Walnut 8002 should come in something like £900 sorted, not just a modded rifle.

i have a 8002 in the process from dave welham. it will be £1340 when finnished with the aliminuim stock the reason the 2020 feals differnt is because dave welham only did 2 guns so the chances are it is un modded
