    Question Derby/Burton Area

Hello there all, I've just returned to the sport after about a twenty year lay off. I'm based in Chellaston just south of Derby. I've joined a small works club that has an indoor range. The other week I took a trip over to Notts Gun Club on A614 for a bash at their outdoor range. Was wondering whether anyone was aware of any other outdoor opportunities, range or otherwise in the area. All replies appreciated.
Thanks very much and happy new year.
    The Squire.

Thanks REwulf1, If that's the dale abbey between ockbrook and ilkeston it sounds ideal. Have you any contact details for the Codnor lot?
    Cheers.

There is a website for Notts Gun Club:

    http://www.nottinghamanddistrictgunclub.co.uk

I've been to their field target range a couple of times and found it OK. There are about eighteen or so knock down targets plus a sighting range. Charge is £3/hour which in my book is pretty good value.

Google search for Codnor club gives contact details as:

    http://www.airgunshed.co.uk/nefta/cl...ubs_codnor.htm

If you get in touch with them please post back the SP.

    Cheers.

    Good luck getting a reply...

    Have a look Here
Codnor opens on Saturday afternoons at 2, and has an informal FT shoot on Sundays anytime after 12. Good club house facilities, portaloo, but it can get quite muddy. First two visits are free, and membership is currently under review. Most there are very friendly and tolerant even if you don't shoot FT (like me).
Hope to see you there soon ...
