Anyone remember 'Black cats'?
Are'nt they the one's that are getting relegated from the premiership this season?
Just daydreaming really about the good old days back in the 60's when I was in my early teens. All we could afford to buy pellet-wise for our Gats and Diana's were Marksman, Black cats if we were really skint. Anyone remember those Black Cats? They had no waist at all, just a pointed tubular bit of lead. Rubbish as well if I recall

Yep I remember them well, we used to call them "cup slugs" I think they were all we could get just after the war. First joker to ask "which war" gets______
When I die don't let my wife sell my guns for what she thinks I gave for them!!!
I remember shooting those with a wood handled Gat, it was pot luck as to whether the pellet actually moved in the bore when you fired
I remember using them in the early '70's. A mates old man had an ancient Gem smooth bore. We "killed" a fair few of his mums clothes pegs with that old gun

Lane's cat slugs - for Daisy and King Air Rifles - British made.
Sold in card boxes of 100 or 500, with a picture of the man in the moon looking down on a screeching moggie.
Still have a couple of part used boxes.
Those were the days.
