spring noise

have just bought a webley longbow and there is a bit of spring noise,i am sure i have read some where there is a way of reducing this please can anyone help thanks phil

You have a couple or three options...

1. Slart the spring with grease. (Cheap option)

2. Use Motorcycle chain lube on the spring. (Quite effective but only covering over the cracks)

3. Buy a decent spring guide that fits the spring (Best option, allows you to use much less lube)
