here is some 50 grain pellets for the cal .25 !
there are two baracudas surrounding a slugged bullet!.
They aprox .45" long and can be singleloaded in my future Rapid!
It was a bulletmold for the .25ACP from RCBS that I have used.
It took me about an hour to makeup 150 "good ones" , once the mold had found(and me too) a natual cyclus of casting. Soft lead was used!
Looks very impressive. How do they shoot and at what power?

Old age is mandatory, growing up is optional.
..no I haven`t tried them yet, but a friend of mine will try them in his Airranger!. I have planning on using them in my .25 Ben taylor Rapid once its gets here. Looks very promising to me.![]()
Rigby, your not serious about putting these pellets through your .25 are you?
For one these are far too hevey for your 50ftlb and I dont think they will be as accurate as the HN diabolo's 31gr,these pellets have a BC of 0.037 which is the best your gona get out of a .25 at high power, the AAfield .22 has a BC of 0.035 so has the Bis Mag .22 (0.035) which the Bis is the smaller version of the barracuda diabolo's.
The other thing is they might not seal tight as the bara's so you'll lose m/v and you'd be restricted to 40-50yds if that, the barra shoots perfect right out to 100yds not many .25's can do this as accurate.Dont waste your time with anything else, just thought I'd mention my finding's.
Let us know how your getting along with your .25 Rapid once you get it .Happy Shooting.![]()
tryed 30 grain rabbit amo in my 40fp rapid , i found thay drop of to quick so only use bis mags or exterminators witch i have found to be very good.

I total agree with you, verminhunter. These cast slugs seems to be too heavy for a 50 ft/lbs airgun. Trajectory will be quite bowed and in my honest opinion I do not think they will perform very well in a Rapid airgun. Most of these small bore airguns are constructed to perform very well with ordinary diablo pellets and not slugs.
Such slugs like this 50 grain slug should only be used in airguns with sufficient power like the 100+ ft/lbs Daystate Air Ranger or one of Gary L. Barnes masterpieces. These guns are special made for using cast slugs and a man like Barnes will be able to tune both slugs and airguns so you will get the maximum out of your airgun system.
