    Bisley Open Day

    Missed them both last year so this year been keeping my eye on the Bisley site and found the date.

    April 29th 2006 is the date for the first one. Now making sure I will be there.

    From what I read the Open day means you can get to try a various number of rifles for a nominal fee. Details are on the Bisley website http://www.nsc-bisley.co.uk/common/a...ite=NSC&id=210

    Quite literally.

    pay like £ 3.00 and get 5 rounds on a .357 rifle.

    Have never shot fullbore or bp pistol, will have to go along and give that a go. Should only take 45 minutes to get there.

    We have 4 points on Stickledown this year for people to try F-Class and Match Rifle at 1000 yards, if you have never shot long range it’s a good opportunity to try, we will have points 1-4, if you have never been to Bisley before, look out for the clock tower we will be about 200 yards to the left of it.

    got to go as have to fix some PC's up there (Computers not coppers!).

    Afterwards will have a nice strol around and see if I can get some shiney new kit. It's nice to stroll around the pavillion and look at all the shooty shooty stuff and hopefully the Optics Warehouse chapppies will be there again with their clearance bits...
