    air arms classic or carbine

    hi lads and lasses advice needed cant make mind up between s410 classic or the carbine its for hunting if anybody who has either can let me know the views on there gun it will help me make my mind up thanks jeff morpeth

    It's a trade off between length and shot capacity. For hunting you'll not be needing 70+ shots so I reckon the shorter barrel outweighs the drop in shots.
    The classic is a wee bit long with silencer added.

    I can only echo what the Mad one has just said and add that I find the balance to be better on the carbine.

    either one will be deadly accurate but with classic u could use in hft just has a bit more wind to get round course

    the carbine has got round any HFT course that I've ever come across with no problem whatsoever.

    I use a Classic, it lets me have 20-30 shots on the zeroing range, do the hft course and plenty of shots after when I revisit my 0's and 1's
    Mine is a .22 but remember the shot count is less with a .177.

    Used for hunting- probably more than you could ever carry

    What ever one you buy you'll have fun,

    Another vote for the carbine mate. Not too short, light and really comes on aim nicely.

    I've just bought the carb and overall very impressed. I did consider the classic but its long old shlong!

    had both and stuck with the carbine..........make good hunting.

    Also as i am a big hairy **** type of bloke i couldnt get comftable with the shorter one
