    Hi.
    I have Mk 1 .22 GB16190
Do you know the year please?
My Dad bought this new but cannot remember year.I've shot hundreds of rabbits with this as a teenager in the 70's.
It was the first gun I ever fired at about 6 years old,at 9 years old I used to sneak into my dads room when he was out and take the odd shot out of the bedroom window with this!!He still does'nt know that 35 years on.(I'm 44 now)
As you can imagine this stays in the family!!

I also have a Mk3 or 4 (not sure which)It looks like GT681?? Very Square fronted stock and steel loading tap but not auto lift.Could you ID this please.
Used to have a couple of others including aMK1 "s" which I regret selling.

    GB16190 should be a .22 Mk.1 produced between 1956 - 1958.

Check the prefix on the other one, as 'GT' applies to a .177 Goldstar from 1991 - 2000

Thanks for that,I think that my Dad bought it about 1958 ish so that means it was probably new.

The other is defo an Airsporter but it could be something other than "T" as it has been painted in thickish matt black.I'll give it a scrape to see better as I am gonna gloss paint and bake it anyway.I suppose it could be a "J" which would make it a Mk5 but did they have steel loading taps?

    Cheers,
    Dean.

Hi. I just got at auction what I think is a MKI .22
    G19072.
It has BSA stamped into the stock. Any ideas as to what year it was made?

    Thanks for your continuing contributions.

Dean C, your other one with the square fronted stock is a GG which is a Mk111. Quite rare and well worth hanging on to! Does it have the serial number on the trigger block? These were made between June 1968 & mid 1969.

    G10972 certainly is a .22 Mk.1 produced between 1948 - 1954.
