Diana airguns were made in Germany by Mayer & Grammmelspacher up to WW2, the UK importer was Millard Brothers - Milbro. After the war they bought the production machinery and "Diana" brandname and set up their own factory, in Scotland, and made Milbro Diana airguns from the late 1940s to the closure of the factory in the early 1980s.
The designations of their earlier production was in the style Milbro Diana Model 25, later production of that particular design (a junior rifle, in this case) was called Milbro G25. Having said that, alot of the later "G" models don't have the corresponding earlier "model number" production as well (For example, when they closed there was a G80 rifle, but there hadn't been an earlier Model 80).
M&G in Germany, meanwhile, started production up themselves but until they could get the old "Diana" brand back, their guns were sold as "Originals" - although they called their factory "Dianawerk".
