    Smile strip theoben sirocco

    hi, i need to strip a sirocco for rebluing,anything tricky i should look out for,any help,or pointers for a strip down guide, much appreciated.

    sirocco strip

    might seem obvious but dont forget to remove the air first

    on the earlier ones the back block is held by a pin but the newer ones are held by a circlip hidden behind an o-ring at the rear / the earlier ones have the same trigger mech as the webly omega

    Also what ever you do,don't be tempted to cock it whilst out of the stock,it will lock in the cocked position for some strange reason.

    Also if it is the earlier model with the drift out pin, there is a hidden grub screw underneath that needs removing before the pin will shift.

    thanks chaps, its an early one,with pull down button safety catch, in front of trigger guard.
