Exploded diagram and spares in one place
Protek Supplies also worth trying for if out of stock at Chambers as well.....
Can anyone help me i have just inherited a Webley Tempest but it has been left in a loft for approx 20yrs and has gone quite rusty. I wanted to strip it down and give it a good clean up and reblack the metal work. has anyone out there got an exploded diagram of how they come apart or any idea where i can get the spares from.
Thanks in advance. Hal.

When you lose, don't lose the lesson
Iirc, chambers bought most webley spares.
Otherwise, you could try knibbs.
Tempests are quite easy to stripdown, fortunately.

Thanks everso much for the info everyone it is greatly appriciated
Webleys are a doddle in the main,
For those with plastic shrouding you will need a set of straight nosed punches to gently persuade the rolled pins to come out,
Once down to the basic gun, unscrew the front threaded pin (no spring pressure involved)
Unclip the rear of the barrel and gently pull and or lever the front of the barrel free,
Raising the under linkage up move it rearwards until it comes free through the round hole in the cocking slot,
The screw end of the spring tube may be carefully removed (a little spring pressure pushes it out)
By using the the end of the barrel as a type of allen key, push the drilled end into the slot it came out of
And use it as a key to unscrew the cap, spring and internals can then be removed.
All the Best, B.
I think the modern webleys have a straight pin holding the spring guide and barrel the action can be pressed down against a flat surface while the pin is partially removed, then he barrel can be eased out of it's pivot and linkage disconnected before fully removing the pin and withdrawing the spring an guide. The original Tempest owners manual has a pretty good write-up.
