Is it like THIS .
A Walther LG53ZD. I bought one of these lovely little rifles from McAvoys of Standish last year. After a service (spring, piston head etc.) it shoot really sweet with an excellent trigger.

I have just been given the above rifle by a mate to try and sell.
it's pretty tatty, needs re-blueing but the ambi stock is in good nick, and it comes with diopter sights.
What would be a good asking price for this?
Many thanks

I.J no it looks much newer, iy has a fixed barrel with a flip-up loading port.
It has LGR on the breach, and has the cocking lever on the side!

Forgot to mention that there is damn near no recoil when fired.

Tpe thats the one, could anyone give me some information regarding this rifle, ie-
servicing tuning etc.
Maxwell
The LGR is a Single Stroke Pneumatic (SSP), and is a damn fine rifle. It's a 10M rifle so power is around the 6fpe mark. I don't know (but I would doubt) if the power can be upped, certainly to the 11-12 fpe range.
One in a shop will go for £300 - £350 depending upon condition (well the last 2 I saw did), so privately an A1 gun would fetch considerably less.
If your example is as rough as a badgers chuff then oviously it will be worth less than the private sale value.
I am sure a few others out there can correct me if this is wrong, and I have no doubt they will be along soon to do so
So there you go, I haven't answered you at all.
If you can post some pics then I am sure a few of us would be able to give you an estimate of it's worth, and yes I would be interested if it were to go up for sale.
I play a Fender bass, I shoot a springer. I like things to be, well, dependable
Ahhh. It was the 'Walther SPRINGER' bit that threw me.
