So I bought one.
Let me first say I am a traditionalist.
No Armalite replicas or bullpups for me.
I'm not keen on plastics either.
This gun has a lot of plastic and is fugly.
Mine has the beech stock with adjustable cheek piece.
The gun is surprisingly light.
You get a 3-9 40 scope with a one piece mount and the rail on the gun is in two sections separated by plastic bumpers.
Two mags -mine are red .22.
Very clearly numbered with warning triangle when it's empty.
The mags are easy to load and click nicely and vertically into the top of the weird bit.
And that's it.
Break and fire. Repeat 9 times.
When empty you press a button and the mag pops out.
I've had a Goldstar and the new system is way better.
Despite the very long weird barrel ,cocking is a bit tough but it will wear in.
The gun makes an odd flat sound on firing and is not quiet.
I hope to go to the range this weekend for a proper test but I'm pleased so far.
I doubt I will become a fan of Gamo build and styling but this is fun stuff for jaded airgunners.
For £250.
