Fully agree with all the Pellgun recommendations and great to see you've ordered some, Mike.
Careful with wiping down the exterior of the '75 with an oily rag.....I think Clarky and one or two others have mentioned in the past that, over a period of time, the oil will spoil the exterior finish? No personal experience of this, but I think I'd be heeding that advice and someone will be along to elaborate. I assume the finish of the '45 is the same, so I don't use any types of oil on the exterior finish.

What exactly is pellgun oil?
I've heard to you can get the equivalent in car parts and maintenance shops.
But I'm not sure which product it is?

I wish I was in the land of cotton.
2 licke tubes arrived very quick so sorted now thanks.
I have just been given a can of "Legia" spray made by browning. Has anybody tried it?
Thanks.
I would agree with geezer....a tube of Pellgun is only a fiver....will last a good while and convenient dropper. There is also some mention of a secretive additive to what could be just transmition oil ....but nobody knows what this is. Its suggesting you go with the Pellgun which has been tried and tested since the 90s with no ill effects.
I use the non- silicone version of this of shotguns.
