The welding is the weak spot ( get it) on the 335 and Ive seen a few with this problem. Im sure someone with welding experience will be on here soon to answer your query with good advice.
They are a great rifle and well under stated.

I've been given an Anschutz 335 to repair, I've got the stock to do but when I removed it from the action I found the bracket on the cylinder had snapped on one side. Quite clearly this is a weakness as weld was evident on the other side where it had been repaired.
To repair the bracket which is the best welding method to reattach it?
Thanks

No expert but Tig would be best or a well set up mig.
Thanks Mick, my mate who does a bit of gunsmithing has an ARC and MIG welder so I'm hoping one of them will be sufficient.
