    Best Five?

    Or six?

    1. Weihrauch HW77K Mk 2 25mm piston (because the fore-sight can be replaced with an interchangeable hooded one or taken off, not cut off with a hacksaw like the Mk 1)
    2. Weihrauch HW85 Mk 1 Delux with the screw-in back block and fancy stock
    3. Weihrauch HW50S old school
    4. Weihrauch Beeman R7/HW30S in .20 calibre
    5. Weihrauch HW55T
    6. Weihrauch HW35 Export with 22" barrel

Only the HW30S is still being made! And you can only get the .20 in the USA even though its the best calibre for this little rifle.

Worst - HW90, HW57, HW35 Barracuda Ether-boosted rifle, any PCP and especially that pistol.

    1) HW97K (either main cal),
    2) HW80K (best in .22 imho), and third;
    3) HW95K (either main cal).

Most iconic, trend setter, took the airgun world by storm - HW80
Mostly accurate, set the world of FT alight, set the standard for others to copy - HW77
Stood the test of time, first to use the trigger unit all others have been measured against, nothing to touch it for many years - HW35

    1. HW55M DT (double set trigger).
    2. Mk1 HW77K Tyrolean.

    3. Is hard. The 35 was arguably the best airgun in the world when introduced in the fifties. The 80 is iconic, but better at FAC levels than 12. 50S, no experience of them. I think I'd plump for the HW85 in Luxus/Beeman trim (pity it was never made as a K). Or - if it counts in this contest - the Theoben Euro Custom 90.

A lot of similar picks here.

    What are the worst?

    57? Fibre-optic sight 45? 22" 35E (that barrel is stupid)? 25?

Sorry, it has to be another cop-out from me.

I couldn't possibly pick just three out of all the lovely HWs.......so I'd have to say all of the springers!

... apart from the HW57 and the hW90 but that technically not a springer.
