    I like the design - it's more asthetically pleasing than some of the recent stuff and, being Steyr, I'd bet that it'll work well.

    I reckon it'll come at a cost though

    I'd better start saving up now for one and by the time I'm 100 I'll be able to afford it. Hopefully when that time comes Steyr will have come up with a better looking stock than the current offering which in my opinion looks like a crudely hewn out plank !

    I must concur with you Vic, the stock has far too much wood between the grip and the butt.

    The woodwork looks even chunkier with the short version. I feel you'd get away with it with the full length, just.

    The full length version needs a longer fore end, gotta have somewhere to put a bipod.
