I looked into this a couple of years ago and was told that due to a trade embargo we have against Russia we can’t import them.

As well as the 46m try a FAS 604 (S/H only now) I have both. Both are excellent but I prefer the FAS as it suits my hand better. Also it's lighter which may be a consideration. Also it always outscores the 46m!

Just a little- the palm rest was too long with sharp edges for me but also I couldn't adjust it high enough (don't have hands like a Russian coal miner...) I refinished the palm rest and stuck a leather strip on it, now it's comfortable. Finally I stippled it as because it's front heavy I found the pistol dipped down too much for my taste, so needed more friction in the grip.

Great pistols mind. There is/was a guy on the auction site selling seal kits and new grips etc direct from Mother Russia., so I bought a seal kit- just in case.

Surprised you found the FAS more accurate than the 46M. Found the 46 and 46M to be top dog in my SSPs.
