Have shot both in the past. The Albini cases which were turned from NDFS they have some bottleneck to hold the bullet but on firing blow out straight this is how it was chambered originally the thought being to allow chambering after the BP fowling built up. this meant cases even with annealing had a short life so used to wrap the necks when loaded with tightly wrapped masking tape so they would just chamber helped to reduce the expansion at the neck. Just FYI both long gone now Fiddly business.

All comments taken on board, I wanted to try a Beaumont as a friend has 1 & they seem to last well with cases. I don’t mind making cases but if they fail after a few firings, I’ll soon get sick of that. Snider are easy to make but a good shooting 1 are getting expensive.
