Anyone help? I've had one of these since it got a rave review in Airgun World in 2006, but I've never seen anyone else mention it on this screen.
it's quite accurate with pellets, but has a hideously complicated mechanism for clamping the CO2 capsules, which has now failed completely. I was tightening up the screw when the CO2 capsule came flying out at high speed, lucky I wasn't looking in at the time!
Upon examination I can see that the loop of plastic (?) which holds the hinge of this clamp has fractured, allowing the whole thing to tilt until it slips its catch. So it can't be used any more, and it appears to be all one with the rest of the butt/handgrips which are one big moulding.
Any ideas how to fix this? If it was metal it might have been possible to weld it, but the only thing I can think of is Araldite; would it be safe?
I really need some expert advice, as Sportsmarketing haven't been very much help.
