A 1912 .22 Improved Model D with straight hand stock and original finish. Faded patina overall. All stampings are clear and readable. Some minor replacement parts (rearsight blade, adjuster and underlever catch) appear to have been fitted during the rifle's previous life. No cracks to stock and lots of traces of clean original bluing are evident in those parts that are not usually touched. Foresight bead is unbroken and has the "Bisley red spot", which we all use to make the sight more visible when it gets dark. As this is paint, it can easily be removed if not to your taste. A good proven, performer on the range - this BSA achieved joint top honours at the last Christmas vintage HFT shoot. Smooth action and as accurate a Pre WW1 BSA as can be found with H&N Trophies or RWS Hobbies. Am selling as have 2 other similar rifles with aperture sights, so this one is surplus to requirements and rarely gets out these days. £235 posted
