Sorry, You'd lose that bet, only have a postage stamp for a yard, about 6 yards by 2, if I want to shoot further I have to go to the range. Five yards is too close to miss with that pistol and I prefer a challenge. I did like shooting proper handguns, the smell and feel of them brought something extra to the experience, but I can live without the cost.Originally Posted by Jim McArthur

20 shots with a CO2 air pistol would cost you about 60 cents in the US.
20 shots with a .45 automatic would cost you about $8.00 (and I'm assuming a discount ammo deal here).
The hurricanes here have played havoc with the money trees that used to grow in my back yard.
