A Webley Straight Grip Senior For Sale
A scarce early 4 pin Senior in .177.
The finish is worn but it is original and a good portion of the bluing is intact. The pistol cocks and fires with a smooth action. The barrel linkage is a later replacement (no patent no. stamped on it) and the breech washer is a modern nitrile replacement (it works!).
This pistol is numbered S 567 and was one of the earliest ones to have been made (does anyone know of a straight grip Senior numbered below S 500?). It is a 4 pin model, so has a leather piston washer and is of course rarer than the later 3 pin models. The trigger is adjustable and I prefer to shoot it to the later Seniors because the trigger is a lot smoother.
I've owned this one for over 25 years and bought a 4 pin in better cosmetic condition a few years ago. I never did offer my 'old' one for sale and don't need two, so I'd let this one go for £325 posted.
