It's a good improvement on the volumetric, will fit the carbine but still isn't particularly quiet.
Has anyone tried this? Lot's of people rate the Logun silencer and so I wondered if it was a big improvement on the standard BSA volumetric silencer. Also, will it fit the carbine superten?

It adds a bit to the length too.
Thanks for your comments. I'm pleased it will fit the carbine and think I might try one out.
Have there ever been any actual tests published where performance is measured/quantified? It's all very well Logun saying it's the quietest silencer but if the difference is marginal is that worth £48?
Logun vs Volumetric, there is a LOT of difference on a Super10 carbine. The Logun is the clear winner.
Don't bother trying to strip the Volumetric to see if you can make it like the Logun. They are held together with tons of locktite and need a lot of heat to remove the end cap. Best left alone !

Hi Richard,
I've got a Logun silencer on my S10 (I'll send you a photograph as soon as it is back from Hydrographics/Baz) yes it does appear to add a bit of length. I have found Logun silencers to be of good value mate - I have one on a Mk 1 Logun and it definately keeps the noise down.
Most rabbits should be brown bread by the time they hear that ol pellet anyhow! <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> and they're mates thinking "darn m'squitas". <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
I'm gonna try Air Arms Field's and Hunters once I've got the gun back. I'm sure there will be plenty of suggestions for suitable pellets in .22 from other BBS'ers <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
All the best
Mark
Thanks for the advice everyone. I am going to try the Logun now.
Hi Mark,
Looking forward to seeing the dipped and tweaked S10 - you're making me jealous!
I'm using Lazapells with my S10 and they are very consistent. However so many people keep raving about the AA Fields that I must try a tin.
Best regards
Richard
