    Rivis charity shoot

With just a week to go most of the members on here should know about this event, it's been well publicised inc two stickys.
You all know the charity is a hospice Derian House in Chorley nr Bolton that gives care and support to dying kids and their families.
We want to raise a good amount of money to give a little bit of help to this great cause.

So are the members of this BBS going to give us their support, how many of you are going to make the effort to get up to Bolton next week, it will be a great shoot (see the web site) there is overnight camping as well as a "barby" on saturday night, there are toilets(not portables) and a showerblock on site and breakfast and lunch are available on the day (must be pre booked).
There will be score card draw prizes, my Open the Box stand, the funny hat comp and I.J's never to be seen again in the UK pcp unveiled this will be your only chance to shoot it.

Will you help us help the kids

    See you all next sunday

This will be a 30 target HFT shoot that will be on a par with any National shoot.

Use it as a practice or as an introduction to HFT but support it.

Let me stress this is NOT your typical 'travel hundereds of miles - shoot 30 pellets - then go home' type event. We are catering for shooters who can go through 3, maybe four times. You can re-enter (there is a seperate class/trophy for this) to UKAHFT rules or try Rivington R. own rules (displayed/explained on the day). You can enter with a spring (recoiling) rifle or even a scoped (recoiling) rifle as there is classes and trophies for both. Why not dust off the old springer for a bit of fun?
As long as there is time (10.00 onwards) you can re-shoot the 30 target woodland course
AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WISH!
Then, of course there is the side shoots (£1) and the 'Once in a liftetime' chance to shoot the new revolutionery rifle. Be there at the making of airgun history. See here.
If you feel lucky you can enter MARTINBBs 'Open The Box' event and win a great prize for just £1. See here!
Of course, EVERY PENNY, taken from ANY shooting event will benefit the childrens hospice.

Only 38 views and only replys from RR members this is totally disappointing from a forum this size.
Come on all you keyboard warriors check out the Derian House website and then see if you can still sit on your ar*e next weekend without a little voice telling you that you could be having a great day out and supported this deserving cause in the process.

    Sorry Chaps,

Although I would love to come, GP5 at Newbury is also on next Sunday.

Hope you all have a good day and raise lots of money for a worthy cause.
