Hi Marcus, varies from gun to gun, some guns in .22 can take 8 or more pumps to get full power, and more pumps again if its a .177.Originally Posted by mfr marcus

I belive someone did a conversion some years ago to get maximum power on four pumps???
Any help appreciated.

Ibought a new inova in 1984 4 pumps full power, on the 5th pump the pump used to go easy blow off valve i think i was a strong lad in them days but the 4th pump took some effort,
most innova`s that i came across, most seem to be 4 pumps and the odd one went to five.(maybe only partly to five)Originally Posted by OLD JUD
i think that depends on the blow off valve setting.

ps..not heard of the conversion that you mention.
have you glanced at this weeks air gunner there a piece on this mod.still
very populer disbite the comp from pcps.
IMO the full range of Sharps rifles were/are excellent guns well in advance of their years. Its just a pity their development stopped.
