Here you are, Larry.
Hi All,
Has anyone any recommendations for Airgun Clubs in Mid Norfolk, preferably to the west of Norwich?
I am planning to purchase a new air rifle and have nowhere to zero it, get used to it and then get accurate with it.
I think I might be in line for some land to hunt on, but there is no way I'm going to point the thing at a bunny, or even a rat, until I can be certain of hitting it where I aim.
Thanks for any suggestions
Larry

Thanks Snock,
It looks like the nearest is Norwich AR & FTC.
Anyone been there?
Larry
hi all NARFTC is a good freindly club we meet up sunday mornings for any more info vist our website WWW.NARFTC.CO.UK

Thanks Ian.
Is it the sort of place where a relative newby can get to grips with a new gun without getting in everyones way?
Larry
Or if you want to go to a club where we love to shoot our guns properly, rather than buy success, Cromer have a nice club that meets on a sunday morning. And we have never been beaten by a Norwich club during a club friendly.
Pm for details.

Maybe they're lulling us into a false sense of security? Broadlands would be a different story thoughOriginally Posted by Arm bands

Cromer is a nice club but you do love coming over to Norwich to see what a clubhouse looks like!!! and you only just beat us the other day by 12 pointsOriginally Posted by Arm bands

Ohhhh. Now you're all tempting me guys !!
The lads from Cromer have been especially good to me in recent weeks.
NARFTC borders some of my permission and Mike R. has been very good to me too. (I can almost smell you guys shooting while I'm hunting on a Sunday morning .. spooky or what?)
I've never tried a club shoot, I'm scared that I would be "drawn" into competition shooting (which means commitment) .. and I live for hunting. Not because I want to "kill" things but because it gives me access to wildlife watching and photography too.
And most scary of all is worrying that I wouldn't prove as accurate as I think I am ...

please explain these dodgy ideas we have i thought we played by the rules!!!Originally Posted by Arm bands
Knowing you, you probably did play by the rules, as would most of your team mates. I know I wasn't there in person but I have heard a couple of stories from a very trusted source, no outright cheating but people may need reminding that if a magasine is empty and the shot is only air, nill points awarded.
