Not tried a MK2 yet but always liked the early MK1.

Their service is superb, without doubt I agree with you. Allowing the Mk2 onto the market when it blatantly didnt work right is another matter. I dont expect products to be perfect on introduction, just somewhere close. Luckily , because it was Logun they did the right thing and improved it, but ask any disgruntled Mk2 owner if that makes them feel better, many gave up with them and probably will never go back.

whats the problem baz if someone asks for an opinion on an airgun i will give one good or bad.i repair guns for living at one of the countrys largest shops and i dont tell lies on average i repair 3 or 4 loguns and the same amount of theobens every week to be honest some are shafted by there owners but not all of them.and i dont just own an HW100 i own rimfires centerfires and many airguns all good ones by the way

£799.99 for a gun which has to have modifications done to make it shoot properly!
Don't make me laugh. It's ok using the market place (us) as guinea pigs, but why not let a few 'random' members on this BBS test the guns before they are released on general sale?
That way, the manufacturers would get a totally unbiased opinion on what parts of the gun are not 'up to scratch', and they could put it right before releasing them to the shops/public.
Look at the S16 fiasco, the cycling bolt was graunchy and tight and the pellets did not cycle properly unless the bolt was RAMMED extremely hard forwards. Karl (Night Sniper) has had two of these guns before he got a 'good' one.
This is NOT good on a gun costing the best part of £500, and on a gun costing £800, it's laughable.
Unless certain gun manufacturers get their acts together, I, for one, am not committing large amounts of cash on a gun which has to be returned to the factory or has a 'retro fit' part to make it work properly. For £800,
IT SHOULD BE RIGHT FIRST TIME!

I have a Logun MKII Pro .22 classic action, beautiful to shoot, never jammed and the inline magazine works great and allows you to load the number of pellets you need for the job, ie. 9 when plinking and 2 when shooting the course. This gun may be a bit over priced but it is without doubt as good as any other gun on the market. I use a Simmons 3.8 - 12 * 44 Diamond Mag Scope and it will do 90 shots at 55 yards without any drop. Can't see why people slag em off. It's the only gun I've had bar my Steyr that hasn't given me any problems.

cheers

Logun are not the only company that have
had trouble with there rifles.
Every manufacture who has produced a rifle
has had teething troubles some were down the line,
It just seem's to me that a lot of people are
anti Logun, and like i have said before a lot
of the trouble is not with the rifle but
the user

Logun Mk II

I own a Logun Mk II and I am worried about all the negative reports I have read about the early models. Can somebody tell me whether mine is an early model; the serial number is 25765. If it is, can I expect problems with my gun?

Robert , not sure if it is an early version.
My serial no on my mkII Karbine is 26391 and I've had no trouble with mine what so ever.
Enjoy shooting your logun and don't worry about
the cyn'ics

logun mk11

dont be the serial no' suggests its quite resent and should be ok its only very early ones which had the odd problems they are fine now if the instructions are followed to the letter. i still think they are a bit overpriced. just my opinion .
