I have one of these, I am a fussy old sod and I have found this to be remarkable value for money, I rate the turret system as one of the best I have used, the sidewheel is better than my Nikon, optics are very bright and clear, better than Nikko and on par with Bushnell Legend to my eyes, although eye position is critical at highest mag (as it is on most scopes) but as I only use max mag to look at bullet holes that doesnt worry me
The big problem for me is what gun to put it on, I think .177 air rifle for now as I want to try out that rather nice ret, I will probably eventually put it on a .308 where the holdover ballistic lines would also be rather handy at longer ranges, although as that rifle is stainless I will probably go for the nice blingy silver 3-12 version
Also a very nice looking scope in a Tactical sort of chunky way
Well done MTC

Hi,
Can someone tell me how the locking turrets work? Do you push them down or do you slide down a ring or something? And do they have indication marks as found on most sniper turrets that tell you how many turns the turret has made.
Thanx
Is there likely to be an issue with bits of grit & crap getting into the turret workings of these scopes since they don't seem to have caps ?
