    my first proper rifle in .177 in the mid eighties.
    kicked a bit but quite well made.

    don't see many about.

    Not so sure about that.....they did have an annoying habit of spoiling the ship for a ha`penny of tar.

    For instance, how many nice air rifles did they spoil with those dreadful creeping triggers?

    Yep, I'll give you that ... Owning a Vulcan and an HW95K I hear what you are saying ... Still a shame though that after 100 years (give or take) bad management and/or greed should sink such a well known British made brand eh? ATB mate and have a good weekend:
