    Diana 52 Question

I have a Diana Model 52 in .177, the gun looks standard but the barrell is a copper colour "blueing the rest of the gun is normal blueing. Was this normal for a 52 or is it a variant on the model. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I've not seen this before - it sounds interesting though - how about a piccie or two?

the model 52 has an outer sleeve on the barrel - don't know why but mine will rotate with a bit of a twist. Doesn't seem to be held on by anything other than the end sight block (which is attached to the inner barrel).
perhaps yours has been replaced with a bit of copper pipe?

Where would I find the history behind the 52? My father has just found out that an old mate has one which has been stored for some time, it is now in apparently perfect condition, with silencer, 0.22.

How do I find out the production dates, a simple search on the internet doesn't produce much. I don't think he wants to sell, he is just interested(as I am I of course!)

    Regards
