I picked this up recently as I love bolt action rifles ....its a Haenal , but this model is in .177 calibre , 4,5mm and not the earlier 4.4mm , which the German makers seemed to favour.
Can anyone tell me anything about it - its a Match model ( there may have been variants ) and has a true peep sight with different apertures . Its not light , but is exceptionally well balanced , and with the front tunnel foresight is easy to hold on aim .

Hi All, ( I love the Haenal,s ) Sorry to Hi-jack the thread ! But does anyone have ANY 4.4 mm lead ammo ! I have a 310 which I shoot, Its " As new " I only need a Handfull to test it,!
I think its shot many ( If any at all ) Apart from the 4.5,s I jammed in it before reading the Calibre, Ha ha, cheers in Anticipation !

I am receiving my first Haenal this week, a 312 match rifle with a side-lever and sliding-breech loading. Interested to see how accurate the design is, it looks pretty chunky too. I wonder what happened to the factory, must have gone under before the end of Communism in East Germany...
