the stock has the lines of a 70's milbro or is it diana but looks too nice, though it does look like cheap pressed in chequering.
the bugger looks so familiar to me- frustrating

And the answer is:
HERE !
I must try harder.
Well done to those that were oh so close but the nearest was IKARMA who wins my Golden Anorak award.
From what little information I can gather its had a gas ram conversion fitted at the Webley (Theoben ? ) factory. Possibly a prototype for a future rifle series.
End block.

Hi Ian, well it wasn't my guess @ post #6 (copied above ) then so is it a one-off factory prototype gas ram Webley & Scott Omega ? .... Ha ha. Nice one matey. See, I can keep a secret (helped by the fact that I've been away all day and could'nt get to a pc ). Well done my friend, good sport, and a very good find : ATB.

Done my bit for the BBS: http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....-being-a-mod-… now I’m a game-keeper turned poacher.
Today I took the Omega to B.A.R. to have the gas ram pumped up (cheers Danny ). I wasn't even sure there was any seals inside the gas ram because it was totally empty when I bought it. I'm well pleased to say after a few attempts at getting the power set correctly, after the first took it too near the legal limit, its now doing a healthy 10.8 ft.lbs with Accupell and shooting very smoothly.
I shall wait now and see if the seals hold pressure.
