i need the exercise.
+ its cheaper than a dive bottle
Your should be able to, but do be aware, the point above how long it take to charge with a pump from empty.
I had to go back to the pump 6 or 7 times for a full fill,
two points here 1) how knacker u are after pumping and 2) the pump will need to cool after 100 strokes ish.
DO think you will go out with a steady had after a heavey pumping session.
I've got a Stealth with a BSA S10 .22 Barrel on board !
Bob our "stealth" expert gave me some v.good pointers.
I have thanked him personally but here goes
BOB Thanks for your help/pointers, your a true gent!
I've now got a Stealth which will out shoot my Steyr LG 100 FT
Some going EH, all dont start shouting the odds about a steyr being better than a stealth !
The Stealth has and does out shoot the steyr ! FACT !
here is a link to Bob's site
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/linegeist/
Take care and keep shooting.
Regards
Nigel
hmm, le gits site won't load for me..
It sounds tough to presureise it from empty, how about just topping it after taking 300 shots?
The thing that doesn't put me off is that the bottle gives so many shots per charge, its something like 300+ full shots? I rarely use more than 100 on a shoot anyway, so one charge could last quite some time.
Do you still use a pump nigel, or have you bought a bottle?

I top it up after every shooting session now.
its not a big problem as long as you don't go down to nearly empty.
If you have not bought the charging adaptor with the rifle, can i suggest you pop down to a local hydraulics coupling firm !
basically u need 5/8 BSP straight thread adaptors to fit the bottle, plus a down step to fit hose on the pump and washers to suit ! - it set me back 5 quid from my locate supplier !!
Trust me- Bob and all the converted, you will love the stealth !
Regards
Nigel
The pump thread is roughly 7/8ths of an inch in diameter.
Won't the standard stealth charging adapter that comes with the gun fit?
The pump's thread is DIN200 (same as DIN diver's bottles)
so you definitely need an adapter.
If you are going to make a hole, make it as big as possible...
where do you get an adaoter from?
I use also a Gehman pump to fill both Rapid bottles and Storm bottles. I just asked Lloyd at BAR and he supplied me the right fittings in a few days...
Hope this helps
Pierre
If you are going to make a hole, make it as big as possible...
thanx for the advise mate.
ill email bar.
sent bar an email and they said they sell an adapter which has the thread that fits the staealth adapter at one end and a male 1/8th at the other end.
Would this type of adapter work?
edit - Im usure what he means by 1/8th of an inch? If he means minus 1/8th then that = 7/8ths which would fit. Bit confusing eh...

Do we care if you cant understand something.
One little word.
NO
Add your own expletives here for what i think of this little scroat.
I pitty you lee, go and whore on your own threads.
Does anyone know or will I have to just buy and see?
Most pumps are 1/8"BSPP and the Stealth adaptor is 1/4"BSPP.
The names come from the inner diameter of steel tubing that use that kind of nuts.
Logical? -Not really!
