When I returned my rifle to Theoben they arranged the courier collection. It works out much cheaper as they have a business contract with the courier. Besides, it can be very difficult to find a courier to collect a gun depending where you live.
I am planning to send my Fenman Profile to Theoben for repair/service, can anyone suggest the best way to package and can one buy purpose made packaging. Also any suggestions regards good couriers?...Thanks.

I have posted to many rifles to remember and always use Royal Mail Special Delivery. I parcel them up in the proper box from the manufactures that my rifles were supplied in. Never ever had a breakage. Have used some of the boxes several times over.

if i was you i would separate the action from the stock . this means you can use a shorter box and also lessen the chanches of the stock snapping.

someone recommended to me to get a bicycle box and cut it in half, but instead i went along to the local fishing tackle shop and the guy gave me a box that he had about 20 fishing rods delivered in.
It was just the right size too, if you get something like that and a few metres of bubble wrap from the post ofice you'll be sorted.
Thanks for the tips.....Trowel.
