I think its 10 years on the scope, not the person,I've sent stuff back for maintenence and not had to pay a penny. All second hand gear, never been asked for a receipt either.

    Hawke Scopes

I have a pro stalk 4-14 x 50 on my hw97k with no problems at all but im on my 3rd reflex 4-10 x 44 on my hw80k the previous one the front lense fell to bits and the 1st one the retical lense came loose this was over a considerable time so you can imagine my frustration when my shots were going all over the place and i thought it was me

I had a 2.5-10x Varmint on my old S10k which I couldn't fault, I now have an SR6 Nighteye on my Mk3 Sport which is used only for hunting and again is faultless.

It's had some serious tests in all weather and survived a drop whilst on the rifle (dink to the front of that lovely stock and also around the PA adj. ring on the scope) but all it needed was 5 minutes to re-zero and it's been spot on since.

There's always going to be the odd item of poor quality in whatever you buy but I have to say, I've been more than impressed with the Hawke scopes I've had and the ret on the SR6 is perfect for 12ftlb hunting ranges.

They call me scopewrecker at my club because I have gone through a number of makes and models in my time. Hawke always replace them without question. That 10 yr guarantee cannot be faulted. If the shop gets funny brush up on your Sale of Goods act!

I have had no problems on PCP's - it has always been on spring guns/gas ram and I used these type of guns more than other club members. I really recommmend a Dampa mount - expensive but had no trouble since using them. This is a mount that absorbs the recoil effect on a scope by the use of rubber bushes in the mount. JSR do them - 1 piece mount £38.95. You should always use a one piece on a springer in my opinion.
