    Dave,

That's a very kind offer, thank you, but I want to keep the HW77 as is - I rely on it too much.

    Wind

No playing for a while, ya jim.

The long range weather says the wind and rain showers are in for a bit.

    Regards

The forecast for Saturday is looking good - 3mph wind from the north, from the shooting position to the target.

It's too soon to draw conclusions, but at the moment it's looking rather as though a headwind disrupts the pellet more than a tailwind.

Certainly on Sunday last when Davy Jones was here and we were shooting into a lively headwind, the group sizes opened right up and neither of us shot groups better than around 3" c-t-c,

    Hi Dave.

By the time my mini-hangover had cleared on Saturday morning, the wind had got up.

Davy was here yesterday and it was blowing half a gale so, instead of attempting any long range stuff, I set out some damsons skewered on willow whips and we splatted them offhand at ranges between 20 and 35 yards.

    Great fun.

Very windy at the club to. Its things like the above that let you know why you started in the first place. IMO

I suspect Sir means 26mm, .26mm is very small indeed

    Erm....

I was wondering when someone was going to spot that. Well done, Richard. Please try and pay more attention, the rest of you.

*Think I got away with it*
