BSA meteor - - - - - -scope rail

Hi all

I have an old Meteor but am having a few problems fitting any mounts for some bizarre reason

I know that a lot of people have trouble fitting mounts to older BSA's such as airsporters etc so whats the answer ?

Also if anyone has a scope and mounts that will go on this and not break the bank please let me know asap

I bought mounts for my BSA Meteor Mk2 from John Knibbs for about £12. Working fine so far.
