Question Webley Mk 3 -information request please

I am quite new to this 'posting' so apologies if this is in the wrong place!

I acquired a Webley Mk 3, serial number A2553 in 0.22 calibre which is in very good condition and shoots very well.
Reading various posts there appears to be a wide variance in dates and costs for a Mk 3.
As this is surplus to my requirements and am thinking of selling this after Christmas.
    Can anyone kindly advise:

    a. How old this rifle is?
    b. What a fair price would be?

    Many thanks for any help!
    Graham

Mk 3's on here seem to go for anythign from £65 (rebuilt and a bit battered) to £125 ( very good bluing and stock), condition is important though the early fluted stocked versions are rarer. Judging by the serial number yours should be a series II made between 1949 and 1957. It should have no scope rail if this is correct. If you put up a photo it would be easier to give an idea.

    Webley Mark 3

If an "A" series would be from 1966 onwards.

A2553 was either made in the week ending 9th April 1967 or the week ending 11th July 1970, would have to look at it to tell which.
In 'VG' condition worth about £80 to £100.
