Didnt BSA make a couple of multi shot springers ?..goldstar, superstar..
Theoben do the SLR98 but they are around 400+ second hand, i fancy one.
Hi
My missis commented at the weekend "You need a multishot for your hunting shoots" after she found 6 baby bunnies in the same spot..all with mixy......and it took a while to dispatch them all coz of the loading time for my underlever.
what options have i got? not silly money...200-300 max....and no...i dont want a PCP even though there's more choice....i'ma retro man!
Thanks all
Neal

The goldstar was a multishot underlever springer, the superstar was its single shot version. Although they are out of production now, the goldstars always looked like pretty good guns, I know a bloke who has got one and he is pretty happy with it. (No, he's not selling it though!) I've had a play and on first impressions it seemed good.

Your choice amounts to Gold Star or Gold Star.
Adrian
get another springer and use said wifey as a gunbearer /loader.

Seggy
I'd go for the gold star.
cant comment on the slr98. but i`ve got the superstar. i`d love the goldstar, if its as good.
if the goldstar is as good as its single shot derivative it is a blinking good gun.
i rember reading here that although they are out of production now, they can still be bought new.
cant remember the name of the outfit that bought bsa`s rights.
if i don`t find it someone here will.
Diana 300R. Looks like a cross between a HW97 and a TX and takes a 7 shot mag. Model has just come out and is currently imported to order only. 01579 362319 if ya want one. Sorry no price in the article.
