    HW 35 Age

Hi All bought the above in gunshop yesterday and would like to find it's age.

But the safety button doesn't go all the way through the rear chamber and the serial no. 711022 and hull cartridge isn't anywhere to be seen on the gun.

Will put photo's up later if that helps But does anyone have any idea ?

    Thanks in advance

    Davey

    Hi Davey,
That sounds very like my HW35, which I bought in 1979. I'm not sure when the through safety bolt came in but I reckon it must have been around 1983/4. I'm sure that IJ will be able to give you some more info. when he sees this thread.
If you have any plans to tune it, you might want to read this thread

Mine suffers from this and will not exceed 10 ft lbs.

    Regards,
    Andy.

It sounds very similar to my 35E which was dated at 1979 by HW.

Justa sec as I park my zimmer.

If you contact info@weihrauch-sport.de with the serial number they will, eventually, tell you the exact date of manufacture.
