    Gammo R-77

    Hi chaps:
Been playing about with this all morning. At 10m it fires apr 5" high. This is with the sight screwed down as far as it will go. Thought it may be power so I tested it 1.8fpe on average so not that. Any ideas.
    Thanks
    John

Not sure mate but my previous gamo cfx (rifle) did a similar thing in that it shot 5-6" high at 10m even with the rear sight screwed right down, I had it sent back and replaced. Maybe the pellet is clipping something when it leaves the barrel

If it is shooting accurately, then add height to or build up the foresight with some metal strip or similar painted black. This will bring the group down.

Maybe gluing a bit of fibre optic cable on it, might work thanks. I was wondering how other R-77's perform.

    Possibly poor crowning.
