    Talking venom 77 mamba .177

hi all, just got me self venom 77 so i thought i would give my view's on it
well it arrived yesterday safe & sound first thing that took my eye was the finnish of the deep buleing there had been alot of time put in to polishing with
every imperfection removed before reblueing, the other thing that took my eye was how short the rifle looked with the over barrel shroud on it so i measured it from breach to muzzle end of shroud and only 12" long housing
a 9" barrel and a very short under lever so cocking effort is fairly high
but smooth so then i set about getting the chrono set up first pellet to hand
was a mosquito 10 shot string gave 10fps spread doing about 11.7 so very happy with that it does give a short sharp snap on fireing not unlike a gas
ram and away she goes it came with a nice RH T/H stock but no good to me as im L/H so when it arrived i put a very nice l/h stock on it,

i did have a chat to steve at v-mach today and he did confirm that 9/9.5
barrel would have been fitted at the time the custom work had been done
it has the lazaglide sticker on it and could be pre 1995.

but i must say there are no sign's of any wear to the rifle just like it had come back from venom

so all in all very nice
finnish of the blueing is superd
look's great with the over barrel shroud
    the rifle's balance is good
    measuring 37" overall

knowing me it will be up for sale in 2 or 3 months but thats me
but i do like my venom 80 that has to come fisrt
