A selection of different pellets and a chrono would be a good start.
hi,
Got a Webley raider 2 shot at the begining of the year and have started to notice that the pellet is not always consistant. I found the barrell was loose and thought it may of been that. I tightened it up but it still seems to have that problem. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Many thanks for time

Check the silencer? Try removing it and see how it behaves?
Loud I know, but at least it will remove that possibility.

Had it chronoed a little while ago. It came up as just under 12 pounds. I have been using accupells, so i tried bisleys which increased accuracy by a bit but there was still that problem. Im not sure what silencer is on it but it is one big beauty (with a sound to match). I will try it without it. How does the silencer affect the consistantcy?
Many thanks for the replys
if its dirty, or loose internally (main cause), can throw pellets off.
I mentioned it because I've seen a few posts on here, where its turned out to be the silencer that's the problem.
Someone else can probably comment better.

thanks i will check it. Is there anyway you meant to go about it or should i just have a nose around.
my raider did the same thing 0 it was the bracket that fastened the barrel to the cylinder. I coudn't tighten the central screw anymore, but as it was in warrenty i took it back to the shop and they sent it back to webley. They fixed it - but it same came loose so in the end the sent me a brand new gun. touch wood - this one has been great
