    Webley Premier valuation ?

Had my "Premier" for donkeys years, and my son has developed an interest in shooting, but isnt strong enough to cock the Webley !

So... dipping a toe, is the old Premier worth anything ? Not sure of age, I did find out a while back - based on seriel number (607) but cant find the site again !

Will post pics if theres any interest...

    Thanks
    Paul

    Webley Premier

This model was introduced in 1964. The first versions were all steel up to 1975, with some of these later ones having a paint finish. A variation called the Premier Mk 2 was then introduced and this had an aluminium body. This only had a 2 year production period. If your gun is any of these, it is probably worth £60 to £70 in fair to good condition. If it is boxed and in very good condition it could be worth £150 or more. Condition and box is critical.
Life is to be enjoyed, not endured.

Hi, have posted a couple of links below with photos which will help, but anywhere between £60 to £130 (boxed mint) plus post is possibly the best you may achieve. Atb: Gareth W-B.

Just a thought but I think your son will get older and stronger. When this happens I am sure he would love and treasure dad's old Webley. I still have the old B.S.A. air rifle that my father gave me 50 years ago. Back then I was not strong enough to lift it and aim but with the help of a friend who would kneel and let me rest it on his shoulder when we spotted "game" we did very well.
I own many rifles now but "dad's" B.S.A. is the one I value most.
